Project summary
Digital marketing technology company, DC Storm, turned to OmCore when looking for a robust Content Management System that was easy to manage and could be updated quickly.
We worked closely with DC Storms’ design agency and XHTML programmer to take advantage of the creative freedom and flexibility available with OmCore.
Our approach
Ease of management was recognised as a key factor for the site because it would be used by a number of administrators, with different roles in the business, and by members of DC Storm's German office.
Therefore, before finalising the design we experimented with a number of approaches for the structure of each page and the site as a whole, using the default website template to allow DC Storm to circulate ideas internally.
Referring to our online developer guides and template tagging system the design agency’s programmer was able to produce the initial template production without any support from us.
At the final development stage, because we have the most in-depth knowledge of the system, we were required to add the final advanced treatments to the interface.
The result
DC Storm now use the content management system to add new pages, regular news articles and events to keep users up to date on their extensive suite of digital marketing technology products, including their Container Tag and advanced multi-attribution.
Since the initial production the site was quickly adapted to cater for the multilingual requirements of the company's German branch.
