When Bristol based agency, Cow Creative Studios, contacted us they were in need of a Content Management System that would meet the demands of a high profile rugby club. Being a specialist design led agency it was also imperative that whatever system they chose, they required as much creative freedom as possible.
After an initial training session, and with reference to our design integration and template tagging guidelines, Cow Creative were able to build a new contemporary looking website utilising off the shelf functionality available with the Sports and Leisure package, at a fraction of the cost, launching the site within 6 weeks from our initial conversation.
The Bristol Rugby club have been extremely happy with the system, finding it much easier to manage all of their website activity. The site’s page structure is now controlled by our core CMS site tree feature, using module add ons they can quickly update key areas of the site requiring frequent content changes such as news articles, fixtures and gamecards, player profiles.
With an small amount of the budget being allocated towards bespoke development, Bristol Rugby Club have now also introduced additional revenue streams, through the production of a business directory and advertising module, bringing all website activity in-house.
When looking for new potential CMS solutions for our clients, we came across OmCore. The initial conversations had with the team were clear and concise. There was no big ‘sales pitch’ and the discussion was frank and open where all our requirements were discussed. The system was demo-ed to us clearly and concisely and we didn’t feel pressured into signing any contracts immediately after the initial conversations.
Once we started working with the CMS we were given plenty of support by the OmCore team and we soon got to grips with the workings of the system. It is a simple to use, intuitive CMS solution that is far simpler for the client to use than many other options on the market today. The team are continually upgrading and improve the offering (at no additional cost) whilst maintaining the high standards of their existing system.
We would highly recommend the OmCore team to anyone looking to have a fully comprehensive CMS solution that is end-user friendly. Plus the team’s patience is to be commended!
