Project summary
During initial discussions with the client it became quite apparent that there were a number of factors such as product type, size, manufacturer and comfort, which influenced the end users decision when buying a new bed. Price comparison was also another key factor in the end users’ buying process.
On deeper investigation it became quite apparent the lack of product standardisation between manufacturers. We therefore needed consider the structure of the product database and website navigation quite carefully making it quick and easy for the end to make product comparisons.
The resulting e-commerce website powered by OmCore’s eCommerce platform, is clean in appearance and free from clutter with all products no more than 3 clicks away. Due to the success of the site the client has extended their product range offering bedroom furniture and a wide range of linens.
The team have worked tirelessly in helping us achieve our goals on the web. They have taken time to fully understand our sometimes difficult and confusing business brief and delivered an excellent product. We are now starting to reap the benefits.
