Getting around in OmCore
Preview mode
- Preview mode allows you to view a preview version of the front end of your website.
- When viewing your website in preview mode preview options are displayed at the top of the screen, allowing you to preview currently unpublished content on your webpages to see how your website will look once they're published.
Accessing preview mode
- Preview mode is accessed using the Preview link in the user panel, located in the top right corner of the interface.
- When accessing preview mode, the page of your website that loads initially depends on your current activity in OmCore. For example, using the preview link when a page is selected in the site tree will load the selected page.
- The following activites will affect the page which is loaded by the preview link:
- Selecting a page in the site tree.
The selected page will be loaded. - Selecting a page's content in the site tree.
The selected content's page will be loaded. An anchor link will be targeted so that the browser will scroll to the position of the selected content on the page. - Loading a module.
If any of the module's content types have been inserted onto a page of your website, then a page containing the module's content will be loaded. For example, when viewing the Blog module in OmCore, the page containing the News blog content type will be loaded.
- Selecting a page in the site tree.
